MAAFUSHI SCUBA is located on the beautiful local island of Maafushi, South Male’ Atoll, about 90 minutes by ferry (or 30 minutes by speedboat) from the airport.

Unlike resort islands with their artificial atmosphere, in Maafushi, you will be in contact with the local population, and therefore you will be able to interact and sample the authentic Maldivian culture.

There are plenty of comfortable hotels & guest houses on the island offering you the same array of excursions & activities (island hopping, dolphin watch, big game & night fishing, water sports, etc…) for a fraction of the price you would pay in a resort.

Diving is obviously the main activity in the Maldives, which are living up to their world renowned reputation.
MAAFUSHI SCUBA is the best and safest way for you to discover the underwater wonders of the Maldives.

We are blessed with some of the best dive sites in the Maldives (listed on every dive safari boat in the country) all within 15 to 40 minutes reach by dhoni (local dive boat).

As a member of PADI INTERNATIONAL RETAILER ASSOCIATION, we can provide you with the full range of PADI certifications.

From the DISCOVER SCUBA for that memorable 1st breath underwater, all the way to DIVE MASTER, there is something for everyone !!

Of course, your kids are not forgotten, and from 8 years of age with the BUBBLE MAKER program, they will be able to enjoy our amazing aquatic world safely.

All kind of specialties are also available from our highly trained and fully professional dive team: night dive, drift dive, wreck dive and DEEP DIVE.

MAAFUSHI SCUBA dive school is equipped with 25 brand new AQUALUNG sets, 2 COLTRI compressors and 40 aluminum tanks (7,10 & 13 liters).

Our dive dhoni (local boat) can safely and comfortably accommodate up to 18 divers and is equipped with a nice sun deck, where you can relax and unwind between the dives.
